"A gestural dictionary where dance and semantics cross, taking us deeper into the meanings behind different words"

Buzón de Baile is a digital dance project produced by Mosquera de la Vega & Rigo Pex for Spanish National TV and Radio 3 Extra. They are curating a gestural dictionary that invites choreographers of different dance styles all over Spain to create dance "capsules" inspired by different words. All of the dance capsules are available to view free on the RTVE/ Radio 3 Ext website:

https://www.rtve.es/alacarta/audios/buzon-de-baile/

Noemí Luz & Magdalena Mannion have contributed two capsules using the words: "Júbilo" (Joy) & "Inconformidad" (Non-conformity).

A song cycle rooted in some of Pablo Neruda’s most sensual and evocative poetry, Los Nacimientos is a project that forges a new type of theatre combining music, dance, sound and vision into a cohesive whole. The project is a collaboration between composer Tom Randle and Luz & Mannion Dance and features the award winning soprano Gillian Keith and pianist John Reid.

The production was premiered at Buxton International Arts Festival in 2017 and was later presented at Dartington Music Festival in 2018.
